

Deborah Wade has a particular interest in the therapeutic, healing benefits of massage for babies, children and adults. In 1997 Deborah trained as a massage and hydro therapist at Educating Hands School of Massage, Florida, USA. During this time, she volunteered at the ‘Touch Research Institute’ (TRI), based at the University of Miami School of Medicine, with a focus on massage and progressive relaxation, working with children, prenatal and breast cancer patients. Back in the UK, Deborah trained with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM). Since her training in 2001, Deborah is now Vice President of the UK Chapter. The IAIM has reached 45 countries and meets every 2 years in various parts of the world. |
