Bowen Technique is a hands-on therapy for the treatment of a range of physical problems.
The technique was developed by Thomas Ambrose Bowen - born in 1916 in Geelong, Australia. He became interested in massage and bodywork, and spent time observing football coaches and other sportsmen.
By the time he was in his 40s, he had a busy practice in remedial therapy using the technique that he developed.
The Bowen technique is common in Australia and London, and is gaining popularity in the south of England, as more and more people hear about its successes.
